De acceleratie met een V-Rod is ongeëvenaard. Je zou kunnen zeggen dat dit de eerste kant-en-klare Harley is die echt marcheert. Aan de andere kant is het geluid nogal mager en moeten de sluizen open. Zoals bekend is de motor ontwikkeld door Porsche. Maar met slechts 21.295 euro is de V-Rod veel goedkoper dan een Porsche.
